June 2017 Financial and Goals Update

June was another fun month to live here in Arizona. No rain this month again that I can recall also. But we did see hot temps. Seems like most of the days it was over 110 degrees. I think we hit almost 120 degrees a lot of the days. So the boy’s summer kept cool at the local Pool about 6 days a week. Logan did have a girl ask him out at the Pool this last month but he said NO, he said he is too busy to date. Seth met a new friend called Quinn. He was staying for a month with his Grand Parents that lived just a few blocks from us. He will miss Quinn when he heads back home.

I had a fun month also. Did some bowling with Darlene in a bowling league for Dream Villas. I golfed a lot in the month of June. The best was at TPC Stadium Course in Scottsdale where they play the Phoenix Open. The photo above is from that day. Tony played with me. RE Wife gave me a gift certificate to it for my Birthday.

Stock Market was up and down for the month again. My stocks ended down a little but RE Wife stocks were up a little bit. My friend had some more talks with me about starting a business with him. I told him I would do more research and we could talk again in August. The business wouldn’t cost a lot to get started, probably about $2,000 and then about $1,200 minimum a year after that. I just am not 100% yet for doing it.
RE Wife is still doing a good job with tracking her expenses. She did get a Christmas gift of some money from the past which was a nice surprise for us. Her overtime was cut back at work so her paychecks were down some but it was a five paycheck month which is always nice. She went back to Minnesota to see family so that was an added expense we didn’t plan on and we stocked up on some good food deals with Tyler our Nephew coming in July.
