Weight Loss can be a hot topic this time of the year for different people. I know many people have Weight Loss as a New Years Resolution each year. But how many people stick with it or just keep listing it each year?
I had it on my Goals list last year to lose 20 lbs of Weight. I ended up losing 29.4 lbs for the year. I was really happy. I do have weight loss on my Goals list for the year again. My goal is to get to 173 lbs or to lose another 20 lbs for the year.
How was I able to do it and stick to it for the whole year is a common question I have been asked. I feel each person can have there own way to make it happen. I am not saying my way is the correct way, but it is how I lost my weight. I do want to give you the Disclaimer that you should check with your Doctor before any weight loss or physical activity program. I’m no Doctor of Medicine but I am a driven person.
My Doctor actually told me I was way over weight and my Insurance company had a standard for the lowest possible cost for Insurance that you need to have your BMI under 25 and Blood Pressure in normal range. My BMI was too high and my Blood pressure was also too high. So I needed to make some changes to be able to save money and have a better chance to live a longer, healthier and happier life with my family.
I didn’t do the below items 100%. I still had some Pops now and then. I still had Popcorn at the movies. I still had Ice Cream once in a while with the family. I still ate out at Golden Corral Buffet once in a while. But my weight loss goals did help me eat less when I was not following my 100% route. For example I may have ordered a large Malt before and now I order a small Malt.
