September 2020 Financial and Goals Results

What a crazy month. One we will never forget for sure but we sure wish we could. This month will go down as one of our worst months ever and it wasn’t because of any money matters.

Two weeks ago, Darlene’s Sister passed away at age 41. We are all sad and can’t get her passing out of our heads. She left behind three great kids and a loving and caring husband. He now has to be a Mom and Dad to the kids. She was loved by so many people and touched so many lives. She was always so happy and upbeat. She would want us to live each day of our lives to the fullest and to be happy at all times.

The Church was packed with people wanting to see her for one last time. It was a really nice service and emotional. She is missed so much and will never be forgotten. Audrey R.I.P.

Logan was supposed to be off to Navy Bootcamp but we got the call just 7 days before about his Aunt. They found another person to switch spots with him so he could be with family for the funeral and would have time to heal. Logan’s new ship date is the middle of November.

So, with our unexpected trip back to Minnesota for two weeks our budget was out of wack for the month. But we had some good family time when we were back home and helped her husband get some things started to help with their finances. This has not been a great day with my Mom passing away in April and now Darlene’s Sister in September. Can 2021 get here soon?

“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results”. By Albert Einstein. I would also say the definition of insanity is believing you can live a financial responsible life without tracking how you are doing, having a budget and goals. I like following others who track their finances to compare our also. I enjoy helping people with their finances and goals.
