The Fate of the Furious Movie

Another goal knock out this week. One of our goals in 2017 was to take the boys to six movies this year. We just took them to the second movie of the year so far. It was a fun family afternoon and evening. It is nice seeing the boys talk to each other and so excited about seeing a movie. After the movie we took them to Dairy Queen for supper and they still kept talking the whole time about the movie. Anyone that has kids knows that two boys don’t always spend too much time together or not fighting with each other.

Advantage of being retired is the choice to do what you want most of the time so it is nice the extra family time I get with the boys. I can choose if I want to work on my businesses, golf game or spend time with my family or friends. Mrs. RE got off work early so it was a surprise trip to the movies for the boys. They were excited.

The movie we went to was called “The Fate of the Furious”. I know the photo above is for Bay Watch but the boys wanted their photo with it. I think we have watched all the movies in the popular Fast and Furious series about three times each one. This movie was the 8th one in the popular action series. I don’t want to give too much away so I don’t spoil it for you but I feel if you like Big Action, Stunts, Crashes, Fights, Races and more you will enjoy the movie a lot.

Parts of it was filmed in Cuba and Iceland. I heard it cost like 250 million dollars to make. I would have thought more with all the cars that were crashed up. The movie has a ton of stars in it including Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Lucas Blac, Kurt Russel, Michelle Rodriguez and more.

It was well worth the money and a great time for our family. Of course our boys are teenagers so they enjoy action movies. It isn’t for a little kid to watch in my views. Now they are talking about the next movies they want to go see. I enjoy watching the boys laughing and having fun. If you like action movies then I would suggest you go to it. Of course if it is in your RE budget.
