What to Do With 650 Million Dollars

It is a fun time when either the Power Ball or Mega Ball Lottery gets to huge amounts. It is fun dreaming about what to do with the money. I bet all of us would have different plans for the money and how to claim the money.

Tomorrow the Power Ball is up to 650 Million Dollars. If you were the only one with all the correct numbers you could take the Annuity Option that would pay roughly $22,413,793 a year before the tax man would take probably half. The other option would be to take a lump sum payment of about $411.7 Million dollars and then the tax man would probably take half of that also.

Darlene and I have a lot of the same thoughts on what we would do on claiming the money and how we would save it. We may not be 100% on everything we would do we are pretty close in some ways of helping out family and friends with the money. I know at first before we claimed the money I would call our Accountant and Attorney for advice that we may need before claiming the money. I would also try to have it not made public or tell people about winning it if possible.
