January 2021 Financial and Goals Update

Another awesome Month to live in Arizona. We had a great month here with Mom and Dad. I feel living in Arizona that we get more company and have more quality time with company then we would have had back in Minnesota. The month was a roller coaster of emotions and crazy things happening. I guess that is called life. LOL

Logan started his Computer Programming program with a College on-line. We aren’t real confident on the education he is getting from this program. He is lucky to be working on the class for maybe 8 hours a week and I don’t see him doing much on his own. His job is going better at Home Depot and starting to learn a new position there. He is not a fan of the 5am shifts but he is hopefully learning how hard you have to work for money. We hope he will Invest his money in the future so his money works for him. We did buy him a car for work this month which took some of our Stock Money.

Seth was still doing a lot of on line schooling for his high school education. He isn’t a big fan of that. Starting today he is back to 5 days a week so hopefully that will continue. He does better when he is in school.

Darlene and myself went over our budget again with some major Medical bills that we had this month. Looks like we will still have some more large Densits bills in February because of me needing a root canal. Ughh

As always, I am not giving you any Financial Advice and you should seek advice from your Professional Advisors to see what is best for your situation. See my Disclaimer at MillsWay.com. This is for entertainment only.

We did get $1,800 in stimulus money so that was good in one way. But I would have preferred not getting one because we made too much money.  Something to keep working towards. Stock Market was up and down this month which made me dizzy. LOL But when all the dust settled we still ended up so that was good.

We just need to grow our followers of Mills Way and also tighten up our expenses more.

“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results”. By Albert Einstein. I would also say the definition of insanity is believing you can live a financial responsible life without tracking how you are doing, having a budget and goals. I like following others who track their finances to compare our also. I enjoy helping people with their finances and goals.

Let me know your thoughts about this blog and let me know of others you would like me to do in the future. I feel we can all learn from each other. That is why I am in the helping people retire early, enjoy life more and be more successful.

Don’t give up on your dreams; don’t let others talk you out of your dreams. Make your dreams happen. Make it happen today.
