May 2021 Financial and Goals Results

Seth is done with school till August now and the warm weather is starting to arrive here in Arizona. This is my favorite time of the year with School being done and vacation trips coming up soon. So many good things to look forward too and be grateful for.

Logan looks like his life is changing again. He may be starting Full Time at Wal-Mart and making more money per hour than he was making at Home Depot. We don’t know yet for sure if Home Depot will be okay with his new availability or not. We hope they will be. If not, he is going to look for another job in his Computer Programming field since he is almost done with College.

Seth has his first Covid Shot now and the other one in a week. He is starting to see friends more often which makes him happy. He may be getting his Drivers Permit in the next few weeks also. Time will tell, we will see how good he is. LOL

Darlene is still working about 6 to 7 days a week. The overtime is good for our bank account also but she is looking forward for our vacation this summer to Texas, Kansas City, Minnesota and Colorado. Big road trip for sure. Just about 3 weeks away.

Inflation is kicking up not only in Lumber Prices but affecting pretty much everything we buy. Also, so many stores have items they are having trouble getting in right now. Plus, they all say how short they are on employees. Seth should be set in December when he will be able to get a job.

“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results”. By Albert Einstein. I would also say the definition of insanity is believing you can live a financial responsible life without tracking how you are doing, having a budget and goals. I like following others who track their finances to compare our also. I enjoy helping people with their finances and goals.

We want to give our boys the best chance to have their money last them thru their retirement years and have them reach their Financial Freedom goals. They need to live somewhat with a frugal mindset and spend less than they make so they can Invest towards their Financial Freedom goals.
